Great Divide Mountaineering is owned and operated by internationally certified Mountain Guide, Marco Delesalle ACMG/IFMGA. This is the only internationally recognized certification which allows guides to work worldwide. As a member of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, I have been guiding for 18 years in all disciplines of the mountains including ski touring, rock, ice climbing, mix climbing and mountaineering.

My enthusiasm for outdoor pursuits started when I moved to Canmore at the age of six. I was brought up hiking, mountaineering, ski touring and speaking French, I was exactly where I wanted to be…in the mountains. I am living my dream working as a guide, because of the freedom, self-expression and sheer enjoyment of meeting people from around the world.
