The "showpiece of the Canadian Rockies and a must for all dedicated climbers"! This "classic" climb is only for experienced climbers who can follow efficiently on grade 5 ice. With only a 5 minute hike from the road, it entails 700 meters of climbing, and 500m of that is pure ice. The lower part is grade 3 to 4 with the upper tiers being the crux. Polar Circus is located on the Banff/Jasper Highway (93N), 5 minutes away from the famous Weeping Wall.
